I have a 96 RS (3800). There is a bolt on the very front of the Coil pack mount bracket that has come out, I assume from vibration over the years. I guess I have two questions.

1) What size bolt do I need to replace the missing one?
2) Does this bolt ground that plate under the coils?

 

I asked the same not too long ago. It doesn't do anything but hold the engine lift bracket in place. You don't need it but your car might make a noise from the vibrating bracket. I removed mine altogether.
