Clutch pedal feel

Clutch pedal feel
I am hoping to get some thoughts here. This is my third year with my '98 SS. The previous owner, a friend of mine, had a bit of mods done to it. It has a "Centerforce Clutch Kit" and had the stiffest pedal I have ever seen. Well I am over 60 and it has taken a toll on my left knee. I see a lot about "The Drill Mod" so I figure it may help. Bought a OE clutch pedal master cylinder and preformed the drill mod. No problems. After bleeding the pedal was so different that I was convinced air was trapped in system. I have bled maybe six other hydraulic systems on other cars so this is where I am stuck. I bled from underneath with bleeder, also tried an attached vacuum from under. Many times with vacuum from fluid reservoir. Here is my NEW PEDAL FEEL. While more fluid has made it mildly easier there is a soft part at top of pedal and its engage point is Much lower to floor. I have driven more miles on sticks then autos in my life. It doesn't make sense that it would change like this. Is there air still? Can two OE master cylinders feel this different? Sorry for so many words, any thoughts would be appreciated. BTW, it does shift fine, just soooo different that it makes me think something is not quite right.

Clutch Pedal Feel
No change whether i pump clutch or not, also drove it now for maybe 50 miles on non highway roads and no change in pedal.
The DRILL MOD is opening the line that goes from master cylinder to transmission to 1/8". It had a restriction in the fitting. The idea is more fluid less effort, I assume.

When driven aggressively, GM cars with manual transmissions have the problem of the clutch pedal sticking to the floor or other symptoms as a hard or soft pedal., slow to return or lazy pedal, stuck mid way pedal, or the classic its just stuck on the floor board.

it does sound like there is some air still trapped in it somewhere. what did the fluid look like that you took out, makes me wonder if the wrong fluid was put in it, to thick would make it harder to move.

I put a Strano brake master cylinder brace on my car and it also helped the clutch quite a bit. I have an LS7 clutch with a Tick Performance adjustable master and a speed bleeder, it's still pretty stiff but manageable.
These cars have a lot of firewall flex, the brace helps a lot and is very easy to install.
