where the hell did u find a slave for 60? they are like 130 online

and i ordered a SPEC stage 3+ clutch $530, a SPEC billet steele flywheel $230, and an upraded GM hydraulics kit $320. should have everything I need.

i should mention, this thread is on page 2 already. ls1.com and ls1tech.com have precisely ZERO responses in the exact same thread i posted for them.


u guys rock, its why i have almost 4k posts here and a combined 300 on those sites

It's because we know things.

I was going to tell you to check the fluid level and tell you to bleed the clutch, but it looks like you've found your issue

By the way, I just set up a clutch, flywheel, master and slave cylinder on a Subaru today

ive got mine ordered. should be about a week before i get them probably [&o]. then im trying to decide if im going to do it myself or just pay someone so i dont have to deal with it. time and space is the issue

I got mine from the shop that fixed it. It came from a very reputable shop which did the install and the part and clutch came from a manufacturer down in Florida. They said it was totally new and wasn't a refurbished part. I have put 6k miles on it since then and have no issues to speak of and I do raise some cane with it every once in a while so I really feel like it will hold up....Hopefully to the 100 shot. I guess I will see.

I am having to replace the slave and clutch also and am paying just over $900 as well. Guy tels me it could be time to replace the whole tranny also and tells me it is going to run $3,500. Anyone know what a new tranny for an LS1 should cost?

hell, speed inc has a whole tranny for like 1200...... its a stocker but damn a 3 grand tranny better stand up to some hell
