The season is another factor. This is the worst time of year to try and sell a Camaro up here. Take $3k to either one of those cars I listed, wave it under the sellers nose, and the car would be yours.

I think your right about the time of the year. My craigs list was full of under 2K Lt1s before Xmas but now they are few and far between.

One thing about craigs list you can get a dreamers that don't show up. I had one guy asked me to hold a car, he had cash "in hand" he would be by at 9am to pick it up. He showed up but he said he spent his car money at the strip club lastnight and could not buy the car LOL. I guess that was better then the no shows atleast I got to laugh at someone right to their face.

I would expect this car to sell for 3200-3500, remember you can not go by asking price.

That 96 convert is a good deal! The time to buy is now, the time to sell is the spring. If you have the cash to spare, buy one now, sit on it for a couple of months, and sell it in the spring for a profit.
