Car pulls to the right, driver's side sits higher
Hey guys, Happy New Year!
So I've had this problem ever since I got the car, but it pulls to the right. The effects are increased when I go over bumps- however when I'm driving on a completely smooth road, it goes perfectly straight! Any small bump causes it to pull slightly to the right, bigger bumps makes it pull even more. It almost feels like bump steer but it only bumps to the right.
Could an alignment fix this? I did the check using a string to check for toe in/toe out, and it seems to be pretty straight.
Also, the driver's side of my car sits almost an inch higher than the passenger side, could it be contributing to the steering? I replaced the rear springs but it didn't fix the problem.

4th gen camaro does set higher on the driver side from the factory but i dont think that much. your sway bar may be failing, ball joints could be worn too much causing control arms to move when hitting bumps. the car will pull to the low side of a road naturally but just enough to cause you to hold the wheel. has the car been lowered?

I remembered that my two front tires are different from each other (from previous owner), so I swapped them to check to see if the tires were the problem. Turns out, it essentially fixed the problem! Car goes straight, and maybe to the right a little depending on the crown of the road. When I get the funds to replace the front tires, i'll get an alignment with it just in case.

lol, yah worn tires or different size tire can make it pull. is one wider than the other? if the tire came from a different car with the front alignment out it could wear the tire on one side and that would cause a pull. check tire wear, if your car has issues with the alignment it could also have caused the tire to wear uneven.
