camaro wont start

Angry camaro wont start

i go outside to start my camaro it starts as usual then it begins to sputter(while still in neutral) as if it wants to die on me... so i shut it off and begin to diagnosis i check all fluid levels spark plugs and coils with no avail.... any ideas would be greatly appeciated.. just cant seem to keep her runnin!!

whats the gas gauge say? test fuel pressure

If you plan to keep this car, I suggest that you get some kind of scanner since they are difficult to find for a 94 or 95. If you have a pc that can be placed near the car, you can use my free scanner app: Scan9495: Free OBD1 scan app for 94/95 LT1 - CamaroZ28.Com Message Board
You would need to get a cable for it at about $55 ALDL USB Cable
Or make you own cable for under $20 by following the directions in post #13 of the first link above.
Some of the critical codes will not light the SES lamp and you would have no certain way to know there was a trouble code present.

it says 1/4 tank and i replaced the fuel filter on it and its making some kind of clicking noise near the alternator. how do i go about testing the fuel pressure

i would try a gallon of gas in the tank first. have you ever run it lower than 1/4 tank? my first 4th gen ran out between 1/8 and 1/4

no i havent ran it lower than that i will try it and get back to u!

i also noticed that when i was changing the fuel filter barely any gas came out at all.....

to test fuel pressure click/look at 33 here 4th Gen LT1 F-Body Tech Aids for lt1.'s but lots of good info for 4th gens.

yup... it was the gas LOL jeeze my meter is reading all messsed up lol

GM should have a safety recall on all the cars they made and fix all the lying fuel gauges installed during the last 30 years. Safety problem of ( in GM speak) "unintended engine stops" when the tank runs empty and the gauge still shows 1/4 full. lol
