i just tested it there was a plug with a pink & black wire and the pink had 12vdc and the black i figured was the ground and i tested it and was good

 

ok now go to the other two wire plugin, it should have a empty place for a third wire, unplug it and switch your tester to the 2k ohm setting then test between the two wires on that plugin. should be between 900 and 1200 ohms.

 

alright, it tested out at 940

 

ull need a helper on this one. set the tester to 2v ac, doesnt say but im assuming its the same wires, turn the motor over and watch the volts. should be more that .1 volts. (100mv)

 

i tested the one that looks like theres supposed to be another wire and it showed .78 VAC

 

yep should be the purple and the one without a wire. ok well according to the dtc 82 test it says repalce the ingition control module..

 

well i had the icm tested three times yesterday and it passed

 

it does say on the other side to check for shorts in the wires so it would be in order to check them melted wires.
