Default camaro steering wheel swap

I HATE my big steering wheel. It blocks my windshield and blocks my dash worst of all its a ***** to turn. I still want the airbag because odds are one day i will crash. Any idea if this is possible. Any popular swaps for steering wheels?

Compaired to 67 these wheels are tinny Weird my steering wheel does not block my windsheild, I have more problems with my head hitting the t-top glass.

I believe GM High-Tech Performance magazine is doing a build about converting a beat-up V6 into a drag strip-only V8 powered bruiser. They swapped out the steering wheel. Then again, they removed all the electronics, too. In your situation, you might have to pull a fuse in order for the computer to not be looking for the airbag sensor. Hopefully, somebody can offer more information that I'm missing. But, it might be as simple as removing a particular fuse to keep the computer happy.

He wants the air bag to work, tricking the computer is not going to help.

Yeah, I forgot the part where he wanted the airbag to work. I got my mind on one train of thought for some reason. Whoops!

have you driven a '00+ Camaro? those steering wheels are WAY worse...if I ever get an LS1 car, I would specifically get a 98 or 99 just for the smaller steering wheel.

Personally, I love the '93-'99 steering wheels.
