Camaro to firebird tail lights
#3
How good are your bodywork fabrication skills? The rear quarter panels are different where the tail lights wrap into the body, so you're looking at grafting the back section of the quarters from the Firebird to the Camaro.
The hatch is different on the Camaro, where it's notched out for the lights and drops down in the center, so that would need to be swapped. That also means the Firebird has a higher entry point for the trunk area, again, likely needing to graft in a tail panel (what's beneath the bumper cover) from a Firebird.
Speaking of the bumper cover, those are different too.
If you're asking can you simply swap the lights, then no, it would be major surgery replacing practically the entire back section.

Yea I don't exactly plan on doing it but I wanted to see if anyone has done it before really I mean I do like the honeycomb lights better but I don't have the resources to be able to do something that extensive but thank you for your time and explaination

If the honeycomb pattern is all you want that could easily be done with some custom cut vinyl or spray paint and a good template. Going with one of these would also give you a wide array of color options. Color matched honeycombs might look cool matched to your car color.
