Yeah, he said they have been sitting in storage for a while and they're in really nice shape. And I know, I was like, I have to get these. And yeah, I realize the tires are expensive. I had many lectures from my dad haha. But this is going to be a long term project and I figure if I can get the real ones for $375 and I have $470 in my savings then I better go ahead and get these beauties

Yeah, this is definitely a steal. There is a guy selling C5 wheels with the tires for $900 but they're not chrome and there is another guy selling just the C5 tires for $250 but they aren't chrome either. And I figure I might as well pay the extra $125 for the chrome ones so i won't have to get them painted chrome, which im sure is way more than $125

I live in the Triad area. I see Camaros here all the time but have failed to see any with the C5 wheels so I'm really excited about this

I have c5 wheels that are oem and I only used a 1/4" spacer in the rear and they barely rub when im cornering really hard. My tires ran me about $600 from tire rack. I went with 275s in the rear (the stock size) so they wouldn't rub as much.

You went 275 on a 10.5 inch wide wheel?

Alright so something else has come up and I need your guys opinion. The guy with the chrome C5 wheels for $375 hasn't replied yet but the guy selling the ones (with tires) for $900 did. And come to find out, the guy selling the ones for $900 are actually chrome (which is what I want) and theyre C6 wheels off of a 2005 Vette. I asked him if $900 was a firm price and he said $800 was bottom dollar. So what I'm thinking is, I'm going to ask him if he can keep me in mind and keep in touch and if he doesn't get another offer, let me have some time to save $300 then ill have $800 and can buy them. I mean to me, I would rather have newer wheels and pay the difference from $375 of the other guys wheels to the $800 with the newer wheels and tires since if I just bought the $375 set I would probably be paying more than the difference for just the tires. Whathca guys think? Deal or no deal?

P.S. I'm also kinda of paranoid that any wheels I see are just replicas with Corvette center caps. Any way to tell if they are legit?

I'd rather have the C6 wheels. The C5 wheels look yucky, but thats just me. How much tread is on the tires? No use spending $300 more for bald tires.
