Brightest AUX Lights ? 96 Z
I have a 1996 Z 28, and it doesnt have auxiliary lighting in the front bumper. I wanted to add some really bright aftermarket lights but most are round ones, about 5 or 6 inches in diameter. Where can I find some high output lights that will go in the stock holes? Im not worried about if they are street legal, I wouldnt turn them on where cars are around because I hate when other people do it. These would be on a separate switch than either the high or low beams.
I'm looking for something that would land an F-18 Hornet on an aircraft carrier in the North Atlantic during a winter storm. |
Are you talking about the fog light holes or the high beams? Either way there's these . Dont know if that's what you're looking for but just google 6 inch led light bar, or what ever size you need and then pick the best option you get.

Okay, the fog lights on my camaro are a similar size to the driving lights. I assume this is the same for all of the pre 98 cars. So id just go measure the size of the mounting you have to work with and get the brightest LED light bar you can fit in there. You're going to have to do some DIY wiring if your car didn't come with fog lights to begin with. Wouldn't be super hard to do.

Sounds like a plan. Just wasnt sure if someone already had a nuclear fire in the front bumper, and I could follow their lead.

Now, on to the horn. heh heh heh

One more question, so I can get a feel for things. ..How many lumens would the stock AC Delco Hi and Low beams produce? I tried to find the answer, but didnt have any luck.

Thanks. I really do appreciate it. I'm sure it's close enough, and certainly justifies the cost of the LED for the gain in light output. As for salt though, it's not good for camaros.
