Default Bosch Platinum 4 Y/N?

I put Bosch platinum 4 plugs in , and a couple people told me that I should change them out to the AC Delco plugs because I would probably just continue to have problems with it.

What say ye?

BTW, any suggestions in removing/replacing the #1 (under the alternator) spark plug? I have an AIR pump and A/C. It took me 2 hours to r&r that plug. My arm is still sore from trying to get in and out of that very tight spot.

Snap on makes a good swivel socket for spark plugs, it changed my life. AC Delco is oem, I dont know why ngk would be a problem unless it is the wrong length.

I have had many customers bring the +4s back after putting them in the larger lower revving engines. Now in small displacement high revving engines they do just fine.

NGK makes a great plug, the iridiums are a little spendy but good. AC Delco plugs are OEM and in 93-97 they were platinum and 98+ were Iridium.

Personally I would not use the Bosch +4 plugs in anything. Keep with the standard plug design you should do just fine.

ngk tr55ix are the best i could find to use in the lt1. have used +4's with and without issues once the motor was built the lt1 did not like them or the acdelco. i use a long handled rachet with the swivel head and a short plug socket, with extention on ones that need it.

Bosch platinum 4 gave me a PO300 code, random misfire. Changed ONLY the plugs to AC Delco, and the code is gone. Car runs fine.

All you need is one good spark.

Denso Iridium is my choice. Here's a little info on Denso vs. OEM:
