Where are you getting the paint and how much is it costing you?

 

No hard feelings. And my color code in the glovebox is 9913 and that's the number I used to buy my paint.

 

DrDuran, I'm getting the paint at my local paint shop. It's shopline+ which I know isn't great paint but it'll last 5 years if used properly. Anyways, it costed me like $75 a quart for paint. $40 for a gallon of reducer. And my friend has some good clear coat that we're going to use on it. So ultimately this paint job is costing me like $250.

 

Kewl, one more question are those 35th anniversary wheels on the car in your sig? That's what I'm going to be looking for for my car.

 

They're 35th anniversary SS Limited Edition wheels. You can find them once in a while on eBay but they're not cheap. There were only 3000-4000 sets produced... Replicas are even $250 a wheel. You can find a full GM set on eBay for $500-$700

 

If yours is going to be like the car in that pic, defiantly go with black. That paint looks awesome.

 

The car in the pic is my goal. Except the wheels and hood. I like my wheels. I'd like to hav a Harwood vented cowl hood. Or a Harwood cowl hood.

 

I say go with what you like. at the end of the day it doesn't matter what we like its what you want.
