Default Best Wiper Blades

Caught a rain storm in my 96 Z28 'vert today and couldn't believe how poorly my new wiper blades worked. It seems the shape of the windshield is so convex that the blades are of no use in most of the sweep area. Mostly towards the A pillars. Anybody have better luck with different products? What were the factory installed items?

I have a set of Trico Flex on mine and they've been on for two years. As long as you get the new style that curve to the windshield instead of the old style that use the steel beam, you shouldn't have any issues.

trico 249R is the stock style that rock auto has for like 3 bucks. you want the ones with 8 connection points at the blade with a reverse hookup.

On the Rock Auto site, they have AC Delco Performance blades. Are these OEM? The also have Bosch and Balkamp. My current ones are ANCO or Trico and they suck. When they wipe down it leaves a stripe on the drivers side. Suggestions?

Just got my Trico blade in the mail. Took it out to the car, tried to install it, and nearly ripped the wiper arm right off the car in frustration. What a poorly designed piece of junk! Both the wiper arm and the wiper itself. The mystery plastic thingy goes in b who knows which way and how to get the wiper on the thing is anybody's guess. The thing kinked, so I folded it twice and threw it. it bounced off the ladder and the air compressor. I put the old blade back on with no issues. Stay away from the Trico blades. Pure junk.
