hey spartan I just installed that exact intake on my car today, got it for christmas from the gf, and you can deff feel/notice a difference in hp and response. i think the 18.29 they advertise on the dyno chart in the box is a little overrated, i'd say this thing adds around 10-15 extra ponies or so. Mine deff. required some modification tho and wasn't really "just bolt it in and go", nothing complicated, just make sure you have a hacksaw, file and razor blade handy. It wasn't as easy as I initially thought to install, turned out to be kind of involved. anywayy.. I deff. recommend this all the other kit's i've had in other cars in the past i really didn't notice a performance difference, this is the first kit where i DID notice. good luck man pm me if you have any questions

I am about to buy this: what exactly did you have to modify to get it to fit? I hadn't heard of anyone having trouble with the install on this before.

on my 95 lt1 the brake lines got in the way. bend them back a little bit and it was fine.

the k&n cold air intake does a lot man. you can hear it and feel it. some advice though......... get a smooth air bellow too. its a kit and its like 70 bux but it eliminates the air silencer.

haha dude I have heard of Summit before- I probably have spent more there than on food. I was just hoping you could hook me up with a part # since I had never even heard of that part before.
