Default Bent driverside Axele

Hi to all, I just bought a 1997 Special Eddition 30th Annaversary camaro with a bent axele, it was curbed, but the car still runs and gets off on the possy.Could it just bethe axele? Or is there something else I should worry about? I am concern that the gears or the differential might be bad.And are both right and left axels universal.

If just the axle is bent, you should change it before it stresses out the other parts. If the housing is bent, you may be able to get it straightened, otherwise get a good one from a salvage yard. It is not a good idea to drive around with a bent axle.
