Default battery keeps dying

i have a stock 94 camaro z28, then when not started for a bout a week the battery dies. it has an alarm so even though it is left off i think it is still drawing some power and that is what is killing the battery if anyone knows how to shut this off or another reason why the battery would die i would appreciate any input.

How old is the battery? Do you have any amps installed in the car?

I had the same problem. I have 4 cars, so I may only drive each one once a week or so. Sometimes after a week, the battery would be dead. About 2 months ago I put Optima red top batteries in all of them, haven't had a problem since. It could just be as simple as your battery is older and fading out.

a year old only?

could be a faulty battery. If not check for proper wiring
