RE: Battery drains down
If you have installed a stereo system....check that your amp is not staying on, make sure its not wired or anything wired to a constant power source. Is your dome light staying on but the bulb is burnt out...???????

RE: Battery drains down
If what is drawing down your battery is not obvious, you will have to find it the hard way.
With the key off, lift off one of the battery cables and insert an ammeter in series with the battery cable and the battery post. The draw should be less than 1/2 amp. If it is more you need to find which circuit is causing it.
With the ammeter connected pull out one fuse at a timetill you find the one whichcauses the meter reading to gonear zero. Do one fuse at a time and put them back in the same place. There are fuses in the engine compartment and on the driver side of the dash. Also do the fusible links one at a time. Once you found the circuit you need to find out what on that circuit is causing the power drain. A wiring diagram will be very useful at this point.
