First thing you're going to want to check is the impedance of the speaker, it should be 2ohms if it's anything different you probably messed up the speaker itself and it will have to be replaced. If the speaker checks out make sure all the connections check out ok. It's not going to be a fuse or anything along those lines because they don't have a fuse for each individual speaker. Start tracing wires with a multimeter and make sure you're getting good connections.

thanks its the original bose system all round so shpuld be ok re impedance, suspect it could be connections on the speaker itself as it seemed to coincide with repeated door shutting, does the grille come off easily for me to inspect connections?, and being new to teh camaro not quite sure how to get to the back of the radio unit.
are there any write ups on this?

just remove the speaker cover and there should be just 4 screws holding it in.
