Definitely not. You want Vtech with Ecoboost and a big cam.

Do some searching, please..........................

No swap will be easy, nor inexpensive.

your looking at some major bucks and parts. 4th gen v6 to v8 is not a good idea. sell the v6 camaro and find a ls camaro with a blown motor thats in good shape. then you hope it has good heads and block, then build the block for boost or juice, one or the other. your also lookin at modifying the trans and rearend sooner or later.

Even better yet, sell the V6 and find a V8 with a good motor and rip it out and spend a buttload of cash on it. Then spend another GIANT buttload on the transmission, rear end so they don't explode. Then go spend another HUGE buttload on suspension parts trying to get that power to ground.

I wish you and your bank account good luck!

Be sure to post pics as you go!

hay,,, i did that,,,, once i get the trans done its on to getting my spare lt1 block stroked, bring the compression up to 11.5 and go a little bigger on the cam. ls1 is cheaper to get more hp, 450hp from a ls1 is not hard. shoot some juice and there you go.

That sounds like a great idea and I look forward to following your project.

When is your anticipated start date? What is your estimated budget in both time and expense?

Please be sure to post pictures :-)
