Default Any experience with NGK plugs?

The end of February we did a lot of work on Sofie, which included new plugs and wires. Ever since then my misfire code disappeared and I didn't have an issue (had a burnt wire). This past week I got the code again and my bf found that the 6th cylinder spark plug was already burnt (bought some Bosch Platinum something or other plugs). So I'm looking to get new plugs to keep this misfire issue at bay. My bf suggested these NGKs, are they the right heat range or should I go hotter?

i don't see those being a problem at all and probably what i would suggest for you if you walked into my store.

for peace of mind, i run NGK's in my stroker motor and don't have any problems now that i have the right gap in them, lol

Thanks Wham. I don't want to have to buy plugs every other month...

NGK TR55's

I also run NGK's in my Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Ford, but used Champions in My Mercruiser even though that was a small block chevy too. Heck, I'm even running NGK O2 sensors in the camaro.

they call them NTK, don't ask me why but they are NGK's

I've had no issues whatsoever and they are less $$$ than Delco.

At ~$2 a plug, NGK TR55 is an excellent choice. Most people with F and Y bodies use them, including myself. Be sure to double check that the gap on the plugs for your 3.8 are .060.
