If you have a true badged 1996 or 1997 RS Camaro, could you please post pics of your 3-piece spoiler from multiple angles.

I have a (yawn.........v6) 1997 Camaro and don't have many choices when it comes to cool mods and such. Money being the main restraint, I'd thought I'd make an RS clone since I have the correct year and the mods are mainly visual.

My main question is...is the spoiler just an extra layer or is the entire hatch different? All the pics I googled are from the side and rear, never from the top.

Also, anyone with a Z28 or RS...is the red bowtie on the rear raised as high as the Z28 or RS badge? I want to make this as acurate as possible if I decide to go through with it.



I'd also like to thank Massey and Gorn for making the call to keep my car going by dropping a salvage engine in it. My search for a V8 4th gen on Craigslist was hopeless and thanks to your advice, I'm still driving a nice looking car. You guys rock .

 

The Spoiler is bolt on
also i just took my bowtie off and yes it is along side the rs sticker
3.8 or 3.4?

 

So the spoiler is just an added on layer? And I understand that the bowtie is next to the RS badge...just wondered if the bowtie is as thick as the RS badge.


Could you post a pic or two of your spoiler from the top if you get a chance? The engine in my car is a 3.8.

 

No id say 3 4ths as tall but is centered you know what im saying, so the rs badge is a little taller in the top and bottom? and sorry no camera, but yes just unbolt your spoiler and bolt on a new one.
