Looks like what Jasper does is take an old broken down motor, take it appart and inspect all the pieces and fix anything that needs to be corrected and then reassemble it, so in essence you're getting a "refurbished" motor.
I would also like to know what "drag parts" are on your car, because if I recall we recently had a member that went to a shop with a stock SS and they told him it had about 440 HP Take what they said with a grain of salt until they show you some proof. If they don't show you proof, then you too can be a Spartan and have "unknown mods"

something to with a computer, and they said internal parts, they werent being specific.
but im still trying to figure out about this new engine, they said it was a substitute for the LT1, since they dont make anymore. (Jasper Engine)

i dont know if i would trust them. did they tear down the egine? how do they know internal parts are high performance? and they said it was a substitute? either its a LT1 or not. how much do they want for all this work/new engine?

i dont know i havent seen it first hand, thats why im just like w/e
they said everthing will be $5,600. and idk te said it was a direct fit 350ci, aluminum etc Jasper Engine since GM doesnt have anymore LT1s brand new

well i guess your mom gets to foot that bill. i know you could go to a smaller shop that deals with performance cars and get the same work done for half that. what did they charge to tear the motor down? draining the oil would of shown the spun bearing.
