AC evaporator

Default AC evaporator

97 z28
anybody know how to get to the evaporator i wanna blow it out to see if i can get a few more deg. cooler from my ac.
just a little info theres nothing wrong with my ac it blows at 40 deg at all times i just figured if i can get access to the evaporator and blow it out i can get a little bit cooler air

it should be behind the dash on the pass side... to me it seems like too much work to pull the dash just to maybe drop the ac a few degrees when from what your saying its pretty cold (trust me here i know a thing or two about cans of worms lol)

no your right thats why im asking hoping it was like drop the glove box take a panel off and BAM its right there. the car is 14 years old and i know theres gotta be some crud in there thank you for your quick reply

there is a way to "flush" the ac system... give me a few min ill see if a can find anything

after doing a little reading i dont suggest flushing the system you cant go through the expansion valve and thats the only way to the evaporator with out removing it
