99 v6 Stalls only in the day time heat need help!

ok that was a finger thing. lol. did i say do not have either battery cable hooked to the battery. if not,,, do not have either cable hooked to the battery when you touch cables together.

Hey everyone just wanted give a quick update i did as you stated with the battery (and did not die lol) and it drove fine for about 10min and then started acting up. So i think i found my problem everytime i knock on my maf sensor thats when the car starts to act up and after taking it out i noticed one of the platinum wires was burned or just turned black so im going to replace this and see what happens.

Got a new Maf sensor no change except when i knock now it doesnt stumble or anything. Man this is a nightmare but a local mechanic told me it could be the Crankshaft position sensor even though there is no engine light anymore at all. I look to see how to do this and wow its hard and would require a mechanic to do this would you guys think this could be it?

yep crank sensor can fail and not set a code, not sayin thats what it is but it could be. lol

Ok so car doesnt stall or hesitate anymore but that engine light just keeps coming back now lol. I keep getting a silly P0113 code any ideas? thanks you guys for everything to.

so what was the cause for your stumble? the crankshaft position sensor? or the MAF?
