Hey guys just had a question and thought u guys could help me out i just got another camaro its a 99 v6 on my dash by the stereo there is a button that says ARS on off can anyone explain to me what thats all about sure would appreciate it...

 

pretty sure it's traction control.

i didnt know v6's came with traction control

 

Guys, we don't have to harrass every female that comes to the boards, leave them alone and maybe they'd stay around longer!

 

Anti-Slip Regulator (ASR), and yes it is traction control. If you spin a wheel it applies the brakes until it gets some grip. I don't see why V6's shouldn't have traction control, I've got Second Gear Start (SGS) and occassionally use it in bad weather, you can easily lose traction if you accelerate hard.
