Default 98 trans am gauge cluster in 98 camaro?

Would a 98 trans am gauge cluster fit directly into a 98 camaro z28? Are there any differences in looks between the two gauges? Thanks.

I don't know but I did see a thread several weeks ago along this same line. As far as physically making it fit, it should (anything can happen with enough money!) but the wiring connections to the guages and parts might be different. Only real way to tell is to look at both and compare mounting and connections.

Looks are slightly different. Firebirds use red film (I think it's on the 98+ years at least) so the numbers and such light up red. I have a spare '99 bird cluster (v6 model) and it's very similar, just subtle color differences that I can remember. As far as plug and play, not sure, I never tried putting that one in my car.
