98 Camaro missing.
Hey well i have a 98 camaro with a 99 camaro 3800 engine. other engine threw a rod. Anyways after getting everything done, the engine was throwing a po300 or w/e for cylinder 1. anyways did a tune up with wires and plugs. was working on a budget so i got the NGK 2.99$ plugs.
Well after a few hours engine light came back on and was missing again, at first it wasnt bad but after a week it got worse and with medium power on the pedal it would want to sputter etc. well the coil pack was crack for 5 and 2 so i replaced that last night and it fixed the sputtering but was still missing. well today i went ahead and replaced the other two thinking it would fix it but sadly it is not. between 1000-2000 rpm thats when it is the worst. after 2000 it will clear up. Any ideas? the only thing im thinking of is maybe the spark plugs don't work for this engine. Going to try and look at this weekend. But any help would be appreciated.

pull the plug out for that cylinder and see what it looks like. could exchange it with another and see if the problem follows it. then ull know its the plug. as long as the plug is set to specs then the nkg s should be fine. thats not to say u wont get a bad one every once in a while.
