Hey Camaro 69 what "burbs of Chicago" are you in? I was born and raised in Elmhurst from '56 to '76.

Born and raised in Park Ridge from 59-68. Then we moved to Barrington, now am living a little further west of that.

Lol something like that.... Didn't realize I completely spelled that wrong, I'm working on a broken screen phone so I guess I need to pay more attention to it. Funny thing about the Napa starters was that they were lifetime warranty, and even though the nose cones were broken. They would still take them back and give me a new one. Good luck O.P. with your starters, I went and had one made for my 81 and plan on doing the same with my 98.

That sounds like the way to go! Where do you go to have a starter made?
