97 Z28 O2 sensor location

OK did lots of searches and googles but can't seem to find a definitive answer. I have P0137 Bank 1 Sensor 2 code on my 97 Z28 that is pretty much stock. Is that drivers side after the cat?
Thanks!

And can anyone explain to me why the SES light comes and goes? Is it the O2 sensor working intermittently or some other reason?

The more I search the more confused I get. Rock Auto calls it one thing, O'Reilly calls it another. Napa calls it something else. Upstream, downstream, after cat. Driving me crazy and no one here is responding. Guess I'll check with my mechanic tomorrow and report back.

Yeah I never trust those auto parts stores to diagnose things, they get it wrong half the time. Sorry I'm no help, there's some guys here that haven't chimed in yet that know a lot more than I do but getting a pro to plug in and diagnose it is probably a good move.

1 is the same side as the number 1 piston. yes driver side after cat 02 sensor

is there 2 cats on a 97 lt1

As I understand there are 4 O2 sensors, 2 before each cat and 2 after. The after ( downstream) just monitor the cat function so don't affect running. (open to correction :))

I've been getting a P0141 error on mine once a year ish. I reset the code and it goes away for a good while, I'll change it one day.
