96 v6 rear? is it easy to change to a v8?

Default 96 v6 rear? is it easy to change to a v8?

one of my friends is lookin to buy a 96 camaro. its got alot of new parts in it but its a v6 n he kinda wants a car with a little more speed in it. the motor is a new 3.8l series 2 jasper does any body know what rear the v6 comes with or what they run at the track? also is it easy to put a v8 in the car. let me know what u think or if u have done this.

rears are the same, only difference is lsd or not. Look under the hood and you tell me if it looks easy to swap anything in there.
