96 v6 camaro 252k miles.
Tires 245\50\r16 fallen zeixes. On z28 rims.
Parts checked :ball joints are all tight
Wheel bearings have no play or any resistance when spun by hand. Tie rods appear to have no play and steering is tight. Bushing are all OK. And shocks up front feel solid.
Here's my issue. When I'm driving over 20 mph and turn right it almost feels a like there's a lump on my passenger front tire. Tires are brand new and balanced fine on rims. Its the worst at 35-40 mph and is almost unoticable over 80mph. When I turn left some times you feel it very slightly some times not at all. This is getting very annoying. If any one has any insite on the same problem . IED love some info. Thank you names Paul.

 

you need to look at the wear indicators on the ball joints. indicator is the grease fitting. it reseeds inside the balljoint as it wears. also need to take the caliper off to see if wheel bearings are getting lose. the brakes will keep the loseness from showing itself. to see how tie rod ends are lose have someone bounce the steering wheel back and forth and see how they react. next check your toe out, get the tape measure out and measure the distance between the front side of your tires taking the measurement as high up as you can and from the same place on each tire, then measure the distance at the back of the tire in the same places. toe out should be 0 so distance should be the same.

 

Well I spun the bearings no 12-6 play or resistance jacked the front end up and checked ball joints with a long pry bar tight as ****. And the tie rods seem perfect car just got an alignment and everything was tight and it straightened out perfect. And the car tracks straight.

 

did it start after getting new tires, look for a lump in one of the front tires,

 

Naw was the same with old tires I thought new rubbers would solve it.

 

All the tires are fie and round

 

well something is lose, better change your bushings. check ball joint wear indicators.

 

Take it to a shop to see what they say? May cost you $50 diagnostic fee but better than just randomly changing stuff that may or may not be bad.

 

bad power steering pump can pulse when turning, think that could be it?

 

You sure a bad power steering pump can pulse were you can feel it in the passenger floor. Becuase maybe that's it. Becuase when I'm taking hard sharp turns the power steering cuts out bad until I'm straight again or if I'm making a three point turn on back roads it cuts out completely until I'm straight again
