yes that would be a great idea. dont want to have a old water pump leakin on a new opti and ruining it. plug wires are easier to change with all that crab outa the way to.

94 does not have a vented opti. you can mod it to a vented or use a msd which is already modified and comes with the needed hoses and fittings. i think shbox has directiions to mod the stock opti. this is a great site for info on the lt 4th gen.

For $10 you also need to pick up the timing cover gasket set and use the opti and waterpump seal from the kit and replace those seals. You can try the crank seal too if you want to try and remove the crank hub. The waterpump and opti seal tend to be the leaky culprits most of the time so it's a wise move to replace them since the opti will be off

well i did, plugs, wires,opti,coolant flush,radiator hose,oil change. she runs like a champ now! thanks for all the help guys! this winter we are going to sand her down and paint her anyone have some good color ideas?

If you live in a cool climate, black just looks awesome. if you live in a warm climate, a nice pearl white is awesome
