Default 94 V6 sputter...I know why now.

I wrote in a while back because my 94 3.4 was sputtering upon acceleration. I checked everthing and couldn't find anything. No codes, nothing. Eventually, after a week or two, it got back running smooth. Well the other day I checked the oil and noticed it was a good quart or so low. (barely touching the grooves on the dipstick) So I added a quart and thought nothing of it 'till the next day. That's when the horrible sputter returned. Now that I think about it, I had added a quart to the car the last time it started sputtering. Weird, the thing runs great low on oil, and crappy with the right amount. Any thoughts?

Is it burning the oil through the cylinders or is it leaking? If it is passing into the combustion chamber, it might be fouling the plugs.

osduck5, I believe you are right. It is fouling the plugs. From now on I'll keep a good eye on how much oil I put in.
