Default '94 A/c problem

I have a 94 Camaro......3.4L V6, standard transmission.

I know my ac needs to be charged cause it don't blow cold, but, it seems to be stuck on the defrost setting, regardless of where you set the control. I know it works off of vacuum, but, I can't find the bad one.....if there is a bad one.

Anyone have any clues, hints and tips for me to figure this one out????

Thanks all of you

check the ac relay. have it scanned for trouble codes. ac should be throwing codes.
