Default 93 z28 700r4/4L60 No Second Gear?

For Some Reason I Think I Lost Second Gear, Because My Trans Doesnt Shift Outta First Until Around 3,500 Rpms During Regular Driving, When Its To The Floor It Will Stay In First And Not Shift Until I Let Off And Sometime At A Slow Enough Speed Will Shift Out Of Third Back In To First, Any Clues On How To Fix This

First check to make sure your TV cable is adjusted correctly. It controls your shift points, up and down, as well as internal line pressure.

Easy fix, Take it to a transmission shop and write a check for $1,200-$1,400 or pick up a used one for $350 at the local yard and roll the dice.

tried adjusting the tv cable trans caught second gear a couple times but not for very long, tried adjusting it again, now im back at the problem i was having when this first started it wont shift out of first gear. Could this be something in the valvebody sticking?

I have the same problem............... it is a 1994 V6 Camaro.

What did you do to fix it?

Oops, I forgot to mention another strange thing with the trans. Since this problem with second gear that I have had with the car for about 8 years; Yes I know lol.... I would say about 5 years ago or so the trans function positions are not aligned properly.

Everything on the trans stick is pushed up 1.

Park is now reverse. I cannot put the car in park.

over drive is now drive
neutral is overdrive etc..

all the gears etc are moved 1 position up which makes for no park gear.

But this car drives without second gear fine once you get into third.....

I don't think you really want him to answer based upon this comment from him
