Default 80,000 miles on 94 3.4...

Iv had my camaro for 12 years,got it with 30,000 on the o.d. Iv changed out the alternator,battery,plugs and plug wires.Put a new fuel pump and filter on it and changed the oil every 3 to 4 monts and flush the cooling systen every year. O.K enouf rambling. Even though every thing is working fine do you think its time to replace the clutch,water pump and timing chain?

Why not? Might as well, that way you're safe in case something DOES happen.

Don't replace it if you don't need to. Are you driving it like crazy? If not your clutch amd timing chain are fine and for water pump those things are hit or miss. They can last forever or the can real soon. If it's still working leave it. Once you notice a little wetness coming from it change.

if the clutch is good then keep it. is the water pump leaking? if its leaking or making noises change it. in any case just like a new/rebuilt the old one can fail or not. if your worried about it and want something to do then for piece of mind change it. i know how it is to wonder about stuff like that. i tend to look for fluids under my car or check the floor where the car is parked all the time. before any trips to the middle of nowhere (or far away business/soccer game) i check everything before i leave. from what ive seen on here the headgaskets are the problem area with the 3.4. the timing chain i dont know about on the 3.4, if there anything like the lt1 i wouldnt worry about it.

What 3800camaro & craby said. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. I had to replace my water pump on my old '95 3.4L -- that was at maybe 125k mi. Timing chain never failed, and it was an auto.

Ill leave it alone as long as its sound,Now i can focus on shiny bits....
