Default 6 or 8 cylinder?

Hey guys, I was looking at a 2000 Camaro yesterday and wasnt really sure on what size engine it had. It has a dual exhaust but the speedometer only goes up to 120. That probablymeans its a 6 right?

yeah, thats a 6, but u can just look at the engine and tell, biggg difference from a ls1 and v6, ls engines have the most distinct intake manifold ive ever seen

well if you can afford an ls1 and the gas and the insurance, then go for the ls1

all you need to do is swap a few things to drop a 8 in.....

And yea id go with the LS if you can afford the gas/insurance.....but as for the rest of us go with the all mighty tourqe monster 231! (3800)......It's really a good strong sixxer tho.

The Z28 that you saw probably had the 115 mph speedo and was governed from the factory because it was ordered with S rated tires instead of Z rated.
