Default 4th gen tunnel brace torque spec

I hate to start a thread just about this, but I cannot find the torque spec for what many seem to call the tunnel brace on a 4th gen Camaro. The GM parts manual calls it "reinforcement, floor panel to tunnel panel." It's the piece of sheet metal that is bolted across the midsection of the car, bulging out to fit around the torque arm and exhaust pipe. Haven't found the answer online, and I can't find it anywhere in the shop manual, even in the areas you would think it would be part of removal/installation like the exhaust or prop shaft sections. So, does anyone know where to find the correct torque spec for the 4 bolts holding this part on?

I get that, but I do like to try and follow the correct numbers listed in the shop manual. Maybe 30-35 is close or right, but I really don't know. It could be only 20lb ft....

While I agree with torquing things to spec, that is not a critical spec, but a 3/8 (M10) Grade 5/Metric 8.8 bolt torque spec is 30-35 foot-pounds, dry. If you lube it, it's 23-25 foot-pounds according to my bolt chart. And I trust this chart as I use it at work where we do have critical torque specs. However, I would just go as tight as you can with a 3/8 ratchet, that is more than enough. As craby said, through some blue loctite on it and snug them down. The brace is not even required. I haven't had mine on in years.

Not all torque specs for every bolt are listed in the GM manual. There used to be a chart in the front of the manual that list screw and a torque range. If its not listed in the GM service manual in the assembly instruction then the chart is how you do it.

Thanks everyone for the advice. For now I've just torqued it to 30 lb. ft. Everything I've looked up a spec for (until this) has been listed, but now I know some things are more general.
