i dunno...... with the stroker kits out there for the ls1 and the power you can make i dont think I would do it. hell, with heads and a tune I would be at ls7 power NA pretty easily. imagine if i had a 383 stroker with a whole new matched top end. wouldnt cost half as much as the ls7 itself

Why not a LS9. For the price of a LS7 clip you could build a nice LSX and have a higher power potential. No body on this forum has a LS7 swap but it has been done of course. But like i said most people would just build a 402 or larger LSX for less.
