So on sunday i plan on getting some lowering springs for my car. The thing is now that even stock it scrapes the splash guard on speed bumps. I want to remove it because it looks dumb and is annoying. I was just wondering if there is an aftermarket splash guard or if my car came missing with splash guard that protects it better. O and by the way for those who where following i found the problem to the no spark issue. Pinched CKP wires.

That is not a splash guard. That is the air dam that forces air up into the engine and through the radiator. Removing it will cause you overheating issues. If you do remove it you will want to have something there to force the air up into the radiator.

Are you asking if there is a way to deflect the air without an air deflector?

There is a way to get it done but it will not work properly without major mods. First off you will need a way to prevent the air from going up through the engine bay after the radiator, and directing it up through the radiator first. Then to make that happen you need a cowl induction hood. Check out the image of the Corvette C6-R. The hood on that car is designed for the express purpose of pulling air through the radiator at high speeds.
