24507244 discontinued any replacement?
 

Hi guys, My 1999 Camaro 3.8 goes through throttle bodies every 3-5 years. I can't find any anywhere. I've cleaned the coking out of an old one I had, but I'm still having issues. Is there any other throttle body that is interchangeable or is my car finished? Thanks.

moved thread to 4th ken where you will get better response. this is very unusual, I would suspect something else is causing the failure. can you post up picture of tb maybe give us an idea.

A couple months ago the reduced power light came on which is when I typically remove and replace my throttle body. It's always been that in the past. It's always fixed it. But this time there is no new throttle body to be found. So I took this one off and cleaned the coking off another one I had removed before this one and put this old one in. No more reduced power mode, but it's running rough and I'm getting the lean mixture bank one and two faults. I used a smoke machine to look for vacuum leaks and ended up changing the orings on my fuel injectors. Looked again yesterday. There's no smoke coming out. I changed plugs, wires and coil packs last year about this time and have had no issues until the reduced power mode. Why would they quit making this part without a kit or something to overhaul them? Thanks for any suggestions. I know there's a long list of things I can check, but it would be nice to rule this part out first since it's been a typical problem in the past.
