Default 245/45ZR18 on 1994 camaro

Has any one ran this size 245/45ZR18 on a 4th gen? Did you have any rubbing issues?
I had 240/40ZR18 but want a bit more between me and the road.

Give me your input plz...

I have 275/40ZR18 on my car. I think a 315 tire fits without a mini tub, but it all depends on the backspacing of the wheel.

I have 275/40 17 on my 4th gen and they come within a few inches of touching on turning.. I'm sure the 245/45ZR18's you want to put on will fit and might slightly rub or come really close to rubbing. If they do just grind out a small indentntation where they would rub in your wheel well.

Here is the link to my 4th gen if you want to check my wheel/tires out.

To be the same height as your tires on a 17 inch rim his 18's would need to have 35 at 45 he is a full inch taller...not as wide but...

I have 245's on my salad shooters and they don't rub. They're a slightly lower profile though. About an inch over all diameter loss.

Right but wasn't he asking about 245/45/18 yes? The width no worries but the height?

so long as the offset is ok and the car is not dropped to far then should not be an issue. the car will set high off the ground though. heres some 275 40 18's looks like there enough clearance

I would be worried about the tire being to tall and rubbing at the top...those 40's don't look to bad though...your speedo won't work properly though just keep that in mind if you don't want to mess with your speedo and want a good buffer from rim to pavement drop to 16" rims and run 50's
