Default 2002 z28 clutch problems

recently my clutch has been acting up and getting worse. it does fine if im driving and not stopping allot but when i go through a drive through or get stuck in traffic it starts releasing when i let up off the pedal even just a little bit. and some time when im driving and let out of the clutch it jerks. the longer i hold it in the less pressure the pedal has. is the clutch going bad or is it a bearing.

Sounds like the clutch hydraulics are having a problem. Start by checking the fluid level and for external leaks. If those are good then the master or slave cylinders may be having internal leaks.

I would lean toward a Clutch Master Cylinder first, The Slave is inside the Bellhousing, Requires Transmission removal...And of coarse Clutch replacement "While your in there".

Yes you will need to bleed after install of a new CMC.
