Default 2002 SS a recommended buy????

Hi Guys
I have had many Camaro's and Firebird's thru the years, but NOT a 4th gen car. I am thinking of buying a used, low mileage 2002 SS. Just wondered what the general consensus is of that year and model with regards to known problems or pluses. Any info is greatly appreciated!!
Cheers!

Great car, but the stock shocks suck -- Koni SAs should be on your list if you buy one.

We're kind of a biased crowd.

I love my LS1. If you can get your hands on a low mileage SS for cheap, go for it!

I own 2 Camaros right now and looking for a 3rd. The LS1 engine is flat out awesome right out of the box and IMHO the best V8 GM had ever produced. Even the L36 cars are great fun to drive even if they are 100 HP lower. The L36 (3.8L V6) is IMHO the best V6 to ever be produced by anyone!

4th Gen Camaro's are the cat's meow of Camaro's until the 2010 in reguards to performance, handling and reliability.
