Default 2002 Camaro V6 falling apart

I coming close to the five year mark for my Camaro. Up until now I have had no problems with it. Recently all kinds of stuff has been happening all at once. Here is a list of all that has gone wrong in the last six months.

driver side power window motor dead
passenger side power window motor dead
dead battery
bad brakes ( ya i know, they need to changed anyway )
three flat tires (same one, driver rear )
radio lights gone
parking brake loose ?
it shakes when stopped
dash lights dim while stopped and feels like it will shut down......

anyone else experience this with their cars ?? is it due to age ?

Sounds to me like you need a complete brake job. New rotors and pads will fix the shaking and bad brake problem. Also sounds like the alternator is getting weak. That could be why the battery is dead. This will make the dash lights dim and make it feel like it is going to shut off. As for the power window motors, it happened to all of us that uses them. Good luck repairing all of it.

Sounds like basic maintanence...

5 yr old car, most of that sounds normal (brakes, battery)

Check fuses for the radio, and it might need a tune-up to stop the shaking if it's misfiring

If it shakes when you're stopping you need new rotors or could possible get them turned, along with new brake pads. Lights might be due to a loose connection or a bad fuse. That sucks though that you keep getting a flat in the same spot. This type of stuff happens due to age and use, and shouldn't be too alarming. It probably comes as a shock because it is all happening at once. Good luck with the repairs.

I know that in my 96 the parking brake is extremly loose especially after driving the car I put onthe e-brake and it is practically 90 degrees angle up and down. However when it's cold and I take the e-brake off then go to re-apply it, it seems like the cable has a lot more tension on it and it will go to about a 45 degree angle. Very strange all I know is that over time those e-brake cables get very warn and stretched out especially if used daily, like mine.
