2002 v6 AC bracket
 

working on my v6 Camaro and I broke a bolt from the ac bracket to the block. Tried drilling it out and made the hole lopsided. At this point I feel it would be easiest to drill the hole bigger and insert a helicoil.

Does anyone know how much material is there in the block or will i run into anything making those holes bigger

Was able to find a video for AC delete and we are currently running a different pully and belt on the tensioner and routed the belt differently so its running but would like to be able to have AC again

You might want to post what you are working on, V6 or V8.
