Default 2001 SS production numbers.

So I've been poking around the net and have found that they only made
636 2001 SS Camaros with the hardtop one of which is mine.
I also found that they only made 591 in silver (pewter) like mine
with a 6 speed.
So now I wonder how many were silver and had 6 speeds with a hardtop, bet not many.

Especially as a daily driver, mine stays in the garage if it's not nice out anyway but I like the HT. If it's hot out I'll turn on the AC.
If I want wind I'll ride my Harley.

Hard top with a 6 speed is rare. Most are t-top cars.

Yup and pewter/silver cars with a 6 speed are rare ,doubt I'll ever see another exactly like mine.
That's one of the things I like about these late 4th gen SS cars, you don't see one every day.

33,681 total coupes for 2001
Of those, 16,022 got t-tops
Which leaves 17,659 hardtops
That means 52.4% of the coupes were hardtop
As a best guess figure, based on averages the buyers picked, 591 x 54% = about 319 that are equipped like yours.
By the way, one of our forum members just picked up an 01 SS silver 6-speed.
Didn't say whether hardtop or t-tops: https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...g-80346/page2/

I think most of the hardtops were v-6 cars,I found production numbers somewhere that showed only 636 SS cars were hardtops in '01,will have to find it again. It also showed only 591 pewter color SS cars with the 6 speed.
With those numbers it's pretty hard to say but I doubt there were that many 6 speed SS pewter color hardtops made.

there spread out i dont see one like mine ,even when it had a 95 front end ,there around though ,the most colors made were for 2001 light pewter over all #21.5% red was 19,5% black 18.5% ,so pewter was the most made in that color ,most years red an black make up most colors, but i would say your car being hard top would make it a bit rare ,if it was a b4c there was only one made in pewter ,it said t top cars made up 55.2% ,over all 56% were v6 3.8L an 44% were the ls1 engine,i am sure numbers vary from one site to another, the rag top was bit more rare at 54 made in pewter .an the site i went to said 29009 world wide total production 3 different sites had the same numbers as far as the total, gm wiki an ls1 tech ,but other numbers varying

Yes but looking only at 2001 SS models in pewter with a 6 speed narrows it down to 591 cars and looking only at 2001 SS models with a hardtop being only 636 were made narrows it down a lot more. I'm thinking there can't be more than a hand full that are SS in pewter with a hardtop and a six speed.
