1997 Z28 right front signal light----

I've seen this post in the archives more than once , but my issue is not entirely the same. I have the front running light operational (which goes on automatically when the cars runs) BUT---NO right front signal or hazard flasher. ALL other running lights are just fine as well as the hazzards by themselves. For whatever reason this right front socket was replaced & appears brand new ,but I dropped $50 today on a new one made by Standard Parts. I removed the new (repop--appears NAPA) socket. Put hazard lights on & got my multimeter. Positive to Heavy ga Blue wire & Neg to either the brown or black & I get a voltage reading fluctuating between 11 then down to approx 3--4 Volts as would "think" the hazards should work. I plug my new socket on to the corresponding wires in every configuration possible & CANNOT get a flasher there. This is crazy !! I can still get a running light ,but that's it. Ohh, & I've tried 3 new bulbs as well as the old one from the left side that works fine.

I'd sure appreciate some help folks. This one REALLY has me stumped.

Thanks very much---67

Ok, That did go through my head. I have a blue, brown, & black wire exiting. Which of the 3 is the ground if indeed one of those 3 are?

I replaced my socket with one from NAPA. It doesn't hold the bulb tight enough, and occasionally I have to pull the light and shove the bulb back in. With the bulb hanging by the base, no wonder that happens. If you are having voltage drop, I would search the ground as previously mentioned.

The blue is the turn signal/hazard, the brown is the park and the black is the ground.
