yeah i looked at the ground and it looks perfect. i scraped the metal where it bolts to the body for a cleaner connection and put it back together and it didnt change anything.

 

make sure all your rear bulbs are in the right way, can sometimes get them in backwards and it will do weird stuff. same with a rusty socket. ground or power looking for a place to go can cause strange things to happen.
